First Post :)

Hurm.. This is my first post for this blog.. I'm not really sure what to write, but I'll try to make it interesting. :)
Well, today me and 5 other friends (Lala, Thirah, Shikin, Khai n Mel) went to Skytrex. For those of you who don't know what it is, it's an extreme outdoor sports place..(somehow that doesn't sound right. haha!) anyhoooo... It's located at Taman Pertanian Malaysia in Shah Alam. We departed from KPZ at around 9.30am. Shikin was the one driving and I prayed we arrived there in one piece, since shikin as one says "bwk cm ribut". hehe! :p Alhamdulillah we arrived there safely, eventhough we had many detours because of the stupid gps. At first we were on the right track to the place, but the gps kept giving confusing and slow instructions. Finally we gave up on it and just used the signboards on the highway. Thank god for the signboards. :) Sometimes we can't always rely on technology after all.

We finally arrived there at 10.30am and after parking the car, we walked to the entrance and paid our tickets. To get to the skytrex area, we had to fill out insurance forms then rode a bus. The bus was really nice, you could breathe in the fresh air of the forest since the bus was like those safari vehicles. awesomeness. :D When we reached the place, since I was the organizer of the excursion, I was briefed on the rules and regulations of the activity.

We eventually started the activity at 11.30am. At first, we had to put on the harnesses. Unfortunately for me, a guy had to put it on for me, so it was quite awkward for him to be so close to me.. Ughh. Afterwards we were taught the basics about the stuff on the harness, how to use them properly and safety measures to take.
The most challenging challenge for me in the course was going up the long ladder, the swinging challenge and the tube challenge. It took us a total of 3hours to complete the whole course since we chose the extreme challenge. It was awfully exhausting. My arms felt like coming off coz in most of the challenges we had to use our upper body strength.

All in all, I'd say the activity was worth our money. And I'd totally recommend it to anyone who loves outdoor activities. Go for it y'all! :) Tapi balik trus lapar n nk tido. haha!  Unfortunately I didn't get to take any pics of our adventure coz i didn't want to bring along my handphone. Only shikin took photos, so i can't wait to see them! The instructors there were really nice too! hehe.. Tibe2 kn.. :P

Well, that's all for my first post. I'm soooooooooooooo tired. I just finished playing volleyball at 11ish juz now. K nite2 peeps. :)
